Ingredients
- 1 pkg 3Fish Pineapple Squid
- 1 Medium Onion, large sliced
- 1 Large Red Pepper, large sliced
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp chopped ginger
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
- 1 tbsp Black Bean Paste
- 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
- 4 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 2 green onions, sliced thinly
Cooking Method
- Defrost 3Fish pineapple squid by placing it in the refrigerator overnight. Wash and pat dry.
- For quicker defrosting, place contents in a bowl of cold water for 15 mintues. Pat dry before using.
- Add 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok(or large pot) on high heat. Add onions and stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add red peppers and stir fry for 2 mintues.
- Remove cooked vegetables from pan.
- Add 2 tbsp vegetable oil to pan on high heat.
- Add pineapple squid and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add garlic, ginger and stir fry for 1 minute.
- Be careful not to let the garlic burn.
- Add black bean paste, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce and bring to a simmer. Add the cooked vegetables and stir fry.
- Season with sesame oil to taste.
- Serve on rice, noodles or as a side dish.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
