Ingredients
- 1 pkg 3Fish Hairtail
- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Fish Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Korean Red Pepper Paste
- 1 Tsp Chopped Ginger
- 1 Tsp Chopped Garlic
- 1 Large Daikon – peel, sliced into 1-inch rounds
- 1 large White Onion, peeled and sliced thinly
- 200 mL Water
- 2 green onions, sliced thinly
Cooking Method
- In a small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the sauce and whisk together. Set aside.
- Wash and dry Hairtail. Cut into the appropriate size pieces you wish.
- Place Daikon at the bottom of a large pot and cover with water and mixed sauce.
- Place lid on pot and bring to a simmer for 10 minutes. Carefully turn daikon over.
- Cover cooked daikon with sliced onions, return the lid and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Place fish on cooked onions and place the lid on the pot. Simmer for 15 minutes or until the fish is fully cooked.
- Serve on a bed of rice or as is garnished with green onions.
