Gluten Free Crispy Frog Legs

Ingredients Cook From Frozen

  • 1 pkg 3Fish Frog legs, back attached
  • 2 Eggs
  • 454 g Nextjen Gluten Free Fried Chicken Mix ( if you wish, substitute Chicken Mix with flour seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder )
  • 3 Jalapenos
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 2L Vegetable Oil

Cooking Method

  1. In an appropriate pot, heat oil to 350F
  2. Defrost frog legs overnight in the refrigerator
  3. Wash them under cold water and pat dry
  4. With scissors, cut them in half and remove excess backbones
  5. Mix 2 eggs with sliced garlic and jalapenos
  6. Add 2 large tablespoons of Next Jen Gluten Free chicken mix
  7. Mix until incorporated
  8. Season frog legs with salt and pepper
  9. Cover with egg mixture and mix
  10. Allow to rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Overnight is preferred
  11. Carefully remove frog legs from the egg mixture and dredge them with chicken mix. Push in extra powder to make sure it’s well-coated.
  12. Carefully add frog legs into the oil and cook until golden brown and cooked throughout roughly 5 minutes.
  13. Stir frog legs occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  14. Carefully remove and season with salt.
  15. Serve right away with pickled salad and garlic and dill aioli.
