Ingredients
- 1 pkg 3Fish NoodleFish – Silfver Fish – Defrosted
- 3 Cups Vegetable Oil
- 2 Cups Tempura Batter Powder Mix
- 500 mL Chilled Carbonated Water
- 1 tsp Togarashi (garnish)
- Salt to taste
Cooking Method
- Carefully heat vegetable oil in tall pot until 350F. Make sure there is lots of room in the pot as the oil will rise up the pot.
- Add tempura powder mix into stainless steel bowl, reserving 2 tbsp for coating. Add chilled carbonated water in slowly, whisking thouroughly until slightly thick.
- Let batter stand for 10 minutes in refrigerator before using.
- Coat Noodlefish with the reserved 2 tbsp of tempura powder. Add coated noodle fish to the tempura batter.
- In small batches, deep fry noodle fish in hot oil for 3 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Carefully remove from oil and put it into an insert lined with paper towel.
- Continue deep frying until all noodle fish are cooked.
- Season with salt and togarashi powder to taste.
- Serve immediately.
